This calculator will help determine a Pokemon's IVs. Please consult other FAQs or sites for a detailed explanation of IVs, as it is quite a conversation. Simply choose your Pokemon, it's nature and it's level from the drop down menus, and the data will fill in automatically. You can also enter your Pokemon's current stats, as well as EVs it has in the fields marked 'EVs' and 'Current Stats'. The stat chart will then highlight the matching values in red, then you can look across to the first column and that will be the IV value for that particular stat.
Entering 'Current Stats' will also display your Pokemon's IVs and its Hidden Power type and damage in bold in the next row. Hidden Power can only be calculated if the IVs are uniquely determined. Please note, you must know your Pokemon's EVs as the calculations will be wrong if you just 'guess'.
You will notice that the same value often appears several times. This happens when your Pokemon is a level less than 100. Due to the actual calculation of stats by the game, there is some rounding down of values, which causes several outcomes to yield the same value and therefore it is impossible to be more specific at low levels. Being at level 100 is the only way to uniquely determine all your Pokemon's IVs and its Hidden Power. You would be able to estimate closely at higher levels, but Hidden Power will be completely wrong unless you are checking at level 100. For example, 28 and 29 Speed will produce entirely different Hidden Power results. It is highly advisable to use the Pokemon in a Wi-Fi battle at level 100 All, then record it's stats. This will interpolate what your Pokemon's stats will be at level 100, therefore this calculator can be completely accurate. Some quick hints can be helpful like, using level 10 and higher will narrow down your IVs to 10 possible values, whereas level 20 will narrow it down to 5 values, and level 50 will narrow even further to 2 values. With some experience in IVs, you will be able to spot 31s on some level 1 Pokemon, and even more on level 10 Pokemon. IV calculation isn't an exact science. Unless you measure at level 100.
